About Us
Karen Reinholt
One of the Pacific Northwest’s most successful women
in the arts & entertainment field in Oregon. She is
known for her many talents as an entertainer, artist
and business woman. Karen has performed as
Peppermint the clown since 1980, is an accomplished
fire eater and magician, has run a successful
booking agency for 15 years, is a regular columnist
for The New Calliope magazine, was the Director of
Comedifest for 10 years and has worked hard to
improve the level of face painting in the Pacific
Northwest. She started airbrushing in 2003 and since
then has successfully built up the business in her
area from nothing to now being in high demand,
enough to include 7 additional airbrush artists.
Face & body art, including airbrushing, is not just
for kids; many of her clients are booking her for
adult dinner parties, birthday celebrations and even
black-tie events. Clients include Nike, Intel,
Portland Trailblazers, OMSI, OHSU, MAC Club, Seattle
Seahawks, Port of Portland, Chinook Winds Casino,
Pepsi, Walmart, UPS, AT&T, The Bite, Wells Fargo,
Lexus of Portland, City of Vancouver, Regence Blue
Cross Blue Shield. She has even performed in
Malaysia for their Funjestival.
Naomi Smith
The owner of Time Honored Designs, has been a
freelance artist for over 18 years. Four years ago,
she transitioned from painting huge murals and
window graphics to painting people. In 2006, she was
handpicked as one of six to compete internationally
in Orlando at the Face & Body Art International
Convention for the title of Body Artist of the Year.
She also was awarded first place in three separate
international face art competitions. Several of her
works are have been published in books and
international magazines as well as a gallery showing
in the Portland / Vancouver area. Not only does
Naomi use the human form to create, she also uses
this medium to advocate and educate for endangered
species. To see critically endangered animals in
human form evokes an emotion in the viewer and
encourages people to start thinking and learning
more about these animals. You may have seen Naomi at
work with her children’s’ face art with Radio Disney
at events such as Kids Expo, Portland Public Schools
Expo, Taste of Vancouver, Kids Holiday Expo, Girl
Fest or one of the many public events she appears
at. In addition, she is in high demand for private
sessions for face and body art which takes place in
her studio in Vancouver, WA.
